On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am most pleased to invite you to the upcoming North East Asian Network (NEAN), Yonsei Leadership Forum 2010. Our forum will be held at Yonsei University with a special focus on the main theme of ‘Asia: Cherish the Past, and Challenge the Future’

NEAN is an annual leadership forum open to all aspiring students with the vision of enhancing their leadership and exchanging invaluable friendship. Through the workshops dealing with global and regional issues, participants will be able to cultivate their leadership skills such as communication, compassion, and self-confidence. In line with our vision, over 900 delegates, faculty members and guest speakers from a number of countries have shared their views, dreams and talents to formulate NEAN as a new agora in Asia. In such essence, partakers from all around the globe will be given a chance to savor the academic and cultural dishes of high standards provided in NEAN2010.

IWith passion for creating the best forum, we have comprehensively prepared the academic seminars on politics, economy, culture, and environment along with cultural events. All delegates will be given a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to listen to the voices of eminent keynote speaker, professors, businessmen, and government officials from various fields and nationalities. Diverse academic and cultural activities following the lectures would lead students to the world of creativity—a distinctive element which differentiates NEAN from other forums. Especially this year, to arouse people’s attention to the issues of climate change, the Organizing Committee prepared a joint session which links environment and economy sessions together. The session would help delegates possess a deeper insight upon how climate change could affect individual daily lives, if not an entire national economy.
